    SELANGOR, 19 SEPTEMBER 2017 – Offset printing technology has long dominated the field of commercial printing. But with the emergence of digitalisation in recent years, digital technology is changing the competitive landscape of the commercial printing market, and companies who fall behind in the shift to digital printing are at risk.

    Packing innovative technologies and features into a small carbon footprint, both the Canon varioPRINT DP product line (varioPRINT 140/130/115) and the Canon imagePRESS C850/C750/C650 are designed to provide the best possible return-on-investment for customers, combining time and cost saving with revenue generation.

    "Print service providers (PSPs) often find that the inflexible nature of traditional presses do not easily accommodate the demands of document customisation.     What is hardware without a powerful software to support and streamline workflows for better productivity? Canon Malaysia also introduced its Canon PRISMAprepare software controller that plays a pivotal role in marrying all job functionalities together, to produce high quality output in the most cost efficient and productive manner.

    "Regardless if you are printing colors or monochrome one at a time or simultaneously, our advanced PRISMAprepare software makes it easy to prepare complex jobs, automate the prepress process and accelerate job turnaround. This would in turn prevent wasted time, effort, or hard-copy layout proofs before they're perfect," explained Mah.
