Annice Lyn is a photojournalist who visually documents stories that resonate with topics of critical importance. As a former national figure skater, her transition into documentary sports photography led her to become the first and only Malaysian female photographer to be accredited for the XXIII Olympic Winter Games, Pyeongchang 2018, and Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. She is currently a Canon Malaysia EOS Youth Ambassador and a co-founder of Women Photographers Malaysia which aims to develop an inclusive culture through visual storytelling. Recently, she photographed the cover for TIME Magazine’s April 2021 Issue and was also chosen for Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2021 for her advocacy in bridging the gender gap through visual culture. She is passionate about human stories and believes photography transcends anyone's social status & has the power to impact and unite people.
