Babis Tsoukias
Wedding & Portrait photographer, born and raised in Athens, Greece. Coming from a family of photographers, he attended a private school of photography in Athens and completed his academic studies in Switzerland where he specialized in large format camera.
He realized within his 30 years of career that in photography the greatest school is the experience obtained by life itself. While commercial and still life photography has always been a big part of his job, it was people that eventually won him over; it’s what he chose and was chosen by. People who make him a part of their most personal and exclusive moments in their lives, who bring forth emotions -whether that is joy or sorrow in their unique experiences, people who laugh, cry, worry, rejoice. It is these precious moments that he loves to immortalize always with a great sense of pride, responsibility but most of all, honor, when he is chosen as personal photographer for such special occasions.
Managing to exceed himself every day, there is no higher accomplishment and accolade than earning the respect of his fellow professional photographers and the love of his customers. In midst of the recession in Greece, he runs his new studio and supports his lovely wife Natasha Lindou, to create her vision Birthstories.gr. They became leader in a new industry in Greece for maternity, newborn and family photography.
As a master of WPPI and master of PWS, he has spoken in several conventions, seminars and workshops in Greece and abroad. The emotion of “special day” and the “meaning of printing” are the main themes in most of his workshops and seminars. Every year he loves to attend the competition of WPPI, PWS and SWPP.
