(KL) Photographing Thaipusam - Theory & Practical - Canon Malaysia

Introduction

Join us as we capture the celebration of Thaipusam at Batu Caves this year! Equipped with skillful knowledge, our speaker Barathan Amuthan will guide participants on tips & tricks to capture the essence of Thaipusam, bringing back stories through the photos captured.

There will be 2 parts to this workshop:

Theory Session
Date: 9th February 2025
Time: 6:00pm - 11:00pm
Venue: Merchant Lane Cafe, Petaling Street

Highlight: 

• Sit in for a theory & learning session by Barathan as he shares tips & tricks on how (and what) to prepare for the actual shooting session on 11 Feb (Tuesday)
• After the theory session, a preview shooting hands-on guide will be conducted at Sri Maha Mariamman Temple as the celebration is being prepared

Practical Session
Date: 11th February 2025
Time: 4:00am - 11:00am
Venue: Batu Caves

Highlight:

• Join us as we attend the Thaipusam celebration at Batu Caves and be guided by Barathan for a practical shooting session in the early hours of the morning.
• Selected Canon cameras and lenses will be available for loan during this practical session.
