Announcement: Update on Canon Printer Repair Services at Canon Marketing Malaysia – Branch Offices (Penang, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Kuching & Kota Kinabalu)

Dear Valued Customers, 

As part of our ongoing commitment to serve you better, Canon will be outsourcing printer repair services to our Canon Authorised Service Partners, effective 2nd March 2026. 

This transition allows us to provide faster and more seamless repair support for our customers. Rest assured, you can expect the same trusted service at these locations. 

Please take note of the following from 2nd March 2026 onwards:   

  • Customers may send printers for repair to any of the Canon Authorised Service Partners within their respective region, please refer to the Where to Buy/Service page on our website. 
  • Canon Marketing Malaysia – Branch Offices (Penang, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Kuching & Kota Kinabalu) will no longer accept printer repair submissions. 
  • For Customers with Printers Pending Repair at Canon Marketing Malaysia – Branch Offices (Penang, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Kuching & Kota Kinabalu): Do be on the lookout for our notification once your repaired printers are ready and please collect them at the respective Canon Marketing Malaysia – Branch Offices (Penang, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Kuching & Kota Kinabalu) where they were originally submitted.   

Our commitment to providing high-quality service remains unchanged, and your warranty and repair processes will continue as usual. We appreciate your cooperation during this transition period.

From 2nd March 2026 onwards, Canon Marketing Malaysia – Branch Offices (Penang, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Kuching & Kota Kinabalu) will no longer accept printer repair submissions. All printer repair submissions can be done at any of the Canon Authorised Service Partners listed in the Where to Buy/Service page on our website.

3. Will there be any changes to the repair process or warranty coverage? 

No, our high-quality Canon service remains unchanged, and your warranty and repair processes will continue as usual.
