NOTIFICATION ON THE CHANGES IN THE SALES AND SERVICE TAX (SST) IN MALAYSIA
We refer to the above matter.
With reference to the announcement made by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia) on 9th June 2025, the scope of services subjected to service tax is expanded to include rental or leasing services, and this expansion shall take effect from 1st July 2025.
In light of the above, please be advised that we will apply service tax according to the changes in the service tax laws as mentioned above with effect from 1st July 2025. Our Service Tax registration number is B16-2203-38000012.
