The current 6-colour ink system is not able to produce the colour gamut of positive film, which is demanded by professionals. Thus the new ChromaPlus technology has an additional red added to the original 6-colour ink. This increases the orange/red gamut by approximately 60% and provides for the unobtainable orange hues as well as richer red.
Low-Cost Individual Ink Tanks System
Individual ink tanks save you ink, as you don’t have to throw away the entire ink cartridge when only one colour runs out. Its clever ink detection system also ensures that every drop of ink is utilised.
A) Real-time Ink-level Detector
The unique Ink-Level Detector sends you ‘Ink Low’ and ‘Ink Out’ warning messages when the ink levels drop. This system saves money by preventing waste caused by ink running out in the middle of a printing job.
