Image Optimizer
Smooth away those jagged edges using Image Optimizer processing technology. This process can be used to improve the quality of low resolution images, such as those you may capture from the Internet, a CD-ROM or a digital scanner. The low grade images are effectively enhanced and smoothed out - giving you a better presentation all round.
Photo Optimizer Pro
Photo Optimiser Pro is an image correction feature built into Canon's Bubble Jet printer drivers. It analyses the hues and brightness of digital image data received and automatically corrects parameters such as colour, exposure and saturation to produce optimised prints. The aim of Photo Optimiser Pro is to faithfully reproduce images as perceived by the human eye. This complex and highly advanced image processing system is easily selected by the user from one check-box in the printer driver.
Colour Matching
The latest version of Canon's Colour Imaging Processing System is tailored to the characteristics of the human eye to produce more vivid natural colours. The system analyses the image to be printed and identifies very dark and very light areas. The driver is then adjusted to expand the colour range in those areas. The result is that in these darker and lighter areas, the contrast is increased, making the subtle detail within them more visible.
P-POP (Plain-Paper Optimized Printing)
P-POP technology promises superior quality that would not blur or run on plain paper by pre-spraying the printing surface with a water resistant fortifying agent (ink optimizer)
