This intensive workshop is designed for photographers who want to elevate their portrait photography skills. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced shooter, you'll learn advanced techniques in lighting, posing, composition, and post-processing to create stunning, professional-quality portraits.

What You’ll Learn

1. Mastering Light in Portraiture

• Natural light vs. artificial light (strobes, speedlights, continuous)
• Key lighting patterns (Rembrandt, loop, butterfly, split)
• Modifiers: softboxes, umbrellas, reflectors, and grids
• High-key vs. low-key lighting

2. Posing & Directing Your Subject

• Flattering poses for individuals, couples, and groups
• How to make subjects feel comfortable in front of the camera
• Body language and facial expression techniques

3. Composition & Storytelling

• Determine face shape
• Rule of thirds, leading lines, and framing
• Background selection and depth of field control
• Creating mood and narrative in portraits

4. Camera Settings & Gear

• Optimal aperture, shutter speed, and ISO for portraits
• Lens selection (85mm, 50mm, 35mm, 70-200mm)
• Focus techniques for sharp eyes and creamy bokeh

5. Post-Processing & Retouching

• Basic to advanced editing in Lightroom & Photoshop
